Cardone Capital’s Expanding Bitcoin Strategy
Grant Cardone, the founder of Cardone Capital, announced the firm’s decision to increase its Bitcoin holdings by $10 million. This move is part of the company’s ongoing strategy to use commercial real estate cash flow to fund its digital asset accumulation. Cardone expressed his confidence in holding both real estate and Bitcoin as “best-in-class” assets for the long term.
Cardone Capital already possesses a Bitcoin treasury of around 1,000 BTC, according to several corporate treasury trackers. This latest $10 million addition follows a series of Bitcoin purchases throughout 2025. Cardone noted that the firm would continue to focus on acquiring institutional real estate and Bitcoin together, seeing them as complementary for wealth-building.
In 2025, Cardone Capital introduced a hybrid investment fund that combines traditional real estate with cryptocurrency. The fund, which includes a $235 million multifamily property acquisition, also contains a $100 million Bitcoin allocation. The property, a 366-unit complex located in Boca Raton, will direct its rental income toward acquiring additional Bitcoin.
Cardone describes this method as a structural dollar-cost-averaging strategy. Instead of relying on debt or equity raises to purchase Bitcoin, the fund uses its operational revenue from income-generating property. This approach allows the firm to avoid the risks associated with Bitcoin treasury companies that rely on market conditions and leverage.
Michael van de Poppe and Bitcoin Valuation
The cryptocurrency market has been volatile, with the Bitcoin price fluctuating sharply. Despite these fluctuations, renowned analyst Michael van de Poppe suggested that the current Bitcoin market presents an opportunity for investors. He noted that Bitcoin’s valuation against gold recently reached an RSI of 30 for the fourth time in history, which has previously marked the bottom of bear markets.
Van de Poppe shared with his followers that Bitcoin is currently undervalued relative to gold. He argued that this dip presents an opportunity for long-term Bitcoin investors, encouraging them to buy during market downturns. As Bitcoin’s market capitalization shed $100 billion in a day, many believe that now could be the right time to invest.
