CrowdStrike and F5 Inc. announced a strategic technology alliance on November 12, 2025. The partnership integrates CrowdStrike’s Falcon Sensor and OverWatch threat hunting capabilities into F5’s BIG-IP network solutions.
The integration addresses a security gap in network infrastructure. François Locoh-Donou, President and CEO of F5, stated that network devices have lacked the same protection as other endpoints despite sitting in front of critical applications and APIs.
F5 recently experienced a security incident that highlighted this vulnerability. The new solution aims to extend detection and response capabilities to network appliances handling application and API traffic.
