WisdomTree, the asset management firm, ended the year with a record $144.5 billion in assets under management (AUM). This figure reflects a 5.3% quarter-over-quarter increase, driven by market growth and the acquisition of Ceres Partners. Despite some net outflows, the company emphasized the continued growth in its crypto business, now valued at $2.24 billion in crypto assets by the close of Q4.
WisdomTree Crypto Assets Reach $2.24 Billion
WisdomTree’s crypto assets stood at $2.24 billion at the end of Q4 2025, down from nearly $3.2 billion at the start of the quarter. However, this marks an increase from the $1.9 billion reported in Q4 2024. The firm’s CEO, Jonathan Steinberg, noted that what were once emerging initiatives are now “real businesses contributing to momentum today.” The crypto sector, while still early in its development, continues to play a larger role in the company’s portfolio.
Steinberg emphasized the company’s focus on blockchain and tokenization strategies. WisdomTree has pushed into Ethereum-based and non-EVM chains, launching funds linked to tokenized assets. These moves show the firm’s growing interest in the tokenization of traditional assets, which it sees as a key driver of future growth.
Tokenization Drives Momentum
Tokenization has been a significant part of WisdomTree’s push into the crypto space. The company has launched various tokenized funds on networks such as Ethereum, Arbitrum, and Solana. These funds include products tied to U.S. equities, fixed income, and money markets. “Tokenized assets are now real businesses contributing to momentum today,” Steinberg added, emphasizing the potential of this asset class.
WisdomTree is also working on expanding its presence in the onchain funds market. Earlier this week, the company announced the reissuance of its onchain funds suite on the Solana network. The firm currently manages around $780 million in onchain assets, a significant portion of which are tokenized funds.
Financial Performance and Costs
In 2025, WisdomTree saw a rise in its crypto- and metals-related advisory and licensing fees, which reached $73.5 million. This is an increase from $53.5 million in 2024. Despite some fluctuation in crypto AUM, the company remains focused on expanding its tokenization efforts. The rise in advisory fees highlights the growing institutional interest in crypto-related products and services.
At the same time, WisdomTree reported an increase in its total assets across 86 exchange-traded products (ETPs), reaching $88 billion in Q4 2025. This growth reflects the firm’s broader diversification efforts beyond crypto, ensuring its place as a leading player in the asset management sector.
