TLDR
- Iranian Revolutionary Guard designated 18 US technology corporations as potential attack targets, including Apple, Microsoft, Google, and Nvidia
- Operations scheduled to commence April 1 at 8 p.m. local Tehran time

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran has issued warnings of imminent attacks against 18 American technology corporations with operations across the Middle East, with actions set to begin on April 1, 2026. The announcement appeared on a Telegram channel affiliated with the Guard, published in Farsi.
The targeted companies represent the technology sector’s most prominent players: Apple, Microsoft, Google, Meta, Nvidia, Oracle, IBM, Intel, Cisco, HP, Dell, Palantir, JPMorgan, Tesla, GE, Boeing, Spire Solutions, and the Emirates-based artificial intelligence firm G42.
According to the Revolutionary Guard’s statement, operations will initiate at 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, Tehran time — corresponding to 12:30 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. Personnel employed by these corporations received warnings to evacuate their facilities immediately for personal safety.
“From now on, for every assassination, an American company will be destroyed,” the post read.
The warnings follow military operations conducted jointly by the United States and Israel against Iranian positions on February 28. Tehran alleges these technology firms maintain direct connections to military and intelligence operations directed against Iran.
Amazon Already Hit
This represents an escalation beyond rhetoric. On March 1, two Amazon Web Services facilities located in the United Arab Emirates were hit during Iranian military operations. A third AWS data center in Bahrain experienced damage from falling debris. The IRGC accepted responsibility, declaring the operations were designed to reveal these facilities’ involvement in supporting military and intelligence activities.
The strikes resulted in widespread service interruptions affecting numerous applications and digital platforms throughout the UAE.
A previous communication from Tasnim, an Iranian news organization with established connections to the IRGC, identified 30 specific facilities across the Middle East region as potential targets. The majority were concentrated in Dubai and Tel Aviv. The Tel Aviv locations encompassed offices operated by Palantir, Amazon, and Microsoft, along with Nvidia’s engineering and development facility.
Why These Companies Are Targeted
Iran maintains these technology corporations supply critical infrastructure supporting American and Israeli military capabilities. Oracle, IBM, and Google facilities in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, and Abu Dhabi were specifically identified for purportedly supporting “military entities.”
Amazon and Google secured a $1.2 billion government contract from Israel in 2021 through Project Nimbus, delivering essential technology infrastructure to the nation, as documented in a 2025 United Nations report.
The identical report indicated Microsoft, Amazon, and Google provide Israel with “virtually government-wide access” to their cloud computing and artificial intelligence platforms. IBM faced accusations of conducting training programs for Israeli military and intelligence operatives.
The US Department of War separately awarded Oracle an $88 million contract for cloud software integration with United States Air Force systems.
Intel responded to the threat, saying: “The safety and wellbeing of our team is our number one priority. We are taking steps to safeguard and support our workers and facilities in the Middle East.”
Microsoft, Google, and JPMorgan declined to comment.
President Trump indicated on Tuesday his expectation that American military forces would withdraw from Iran within “two to three weeks.” The White House confirmed Trump would deliver a national address concerning the Iran conflict Wednesday evening.
Casualty figures exceed 3,400 Iranian civilians and military personnel since the conflict’s beginning, alongside 13 American service members. Over 3,000 drones and missiles have been launched across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Kuwait.
