CoreWeave (CRWV) shares surged more than 3% during Wednesday’s trading session to approximately $83.35, reaching an intraday peak of $85.26. The upward movement followed the company’s revelation that it has become the inaugural neocloud platform to integrate Nvidia’s Vera Rubin NVL72 system into an operational AI cloud infrastructure.

Nvidia’s Vera Rubin NVL72 represents the company’s newest rack-scale design, integrating 72 Rubin GPUs alongside 36 Vera CPUs into a unified cluster configuration. This system targets massive-scale AI training operations and inference processing demands.

CoreWeave’s primary neocloud competitors, including Nebius and IREN Limited, have yet to implement this technology. Nebius shares have climbed approximately 155% year-to-date, while CoreWeave has registered a 15% increase since January.
Revenue Acceleration Despite Expanding Losses
During the second quarter of 2026, CoreWeave disclosed revenue totaling $2.58 billion, representing a 112% year-over-year expansion. The firm exceeded analyst earnings per share projections, posting a loss of $1.14 per share versus the consensus forecast of $1.52.
Nevertheless, the adjusted net loss per share of $1.03 expanded 282% compared to the $0.27 loss documented during the corresponding quarter last year. The organization maintains a debt-to-equity ratio of 5.53 alongside a negative net margin of 25.41%, and continues operating without profitability.
Wall Street analysts project a full-year EPS of -$5.19 for CoreWeave.

Blockfusion Agreement Secures Extended Capacity
Blockfusion executed a 15-year anchor lease arrangement with CoreWeave for facilities at its Niagara Falls, New York AI campus. The contract incorporates an expansion provision, providing CoreWeave with clarity regarding future infrastructure capabilities.
Earlier in the month, CoreWeave unveiled Physical AI Field Engineering, positioning its technical experts directly alongside customer teams to assist with designing, training, and implementing AI models throughout industries including autonomous vehicles, robotics, and aerospace.
From an institutional investment perspective, Alyeska Investment Group expanded its CoreWeave position by 55.7% during Q2, while Deutsche Bank grew its holdings by over 22,000%.
Wells Fargo elevated its price objective on CRWV from $155 to $160 alongside an Overweight rating. Cantor Fitzgerald maintains a $176 target. Bernstein, conversely, confirmed its Sell rating following statements from Anthropic and OpenAI leadership indicating that AI capability advancement may decelerate.
The aggregate consensus from 34 analysts registers as “Moderate Buy” with a mean price target of $142.31. Company insiders divested more than 6.7 million shares valued at $604 million over the previous 90 days, conducted through pre-established 10b5-1 trading plans.
