This remarkable performance centers around a single driving force: artificial intelligence infrastructure demand. Enterprises and cloud providers are racing to expand data center capacity with advanced servers and high-speed networking equipment, positioning HPE at the heart of this massive expansion.
Chief Financial Officer Marie Myers offered a straightforward assessment on Wednesday. “Demand is continuing to outpace supply,” she explained during an interview with Yahoo Finance, emphasizing that the AI-driven growth trajectory shows no signs of slowing.
Company Elevates Networking Revenue Projections
During its annual investor day presentation, HPE announced that fiscal 2026 networking orders are projected to exceed $3 billion—surpassing the $2.5 billion to $3 billion range the company communicated during its third-quarter update.
Leadership also revised upward the revenue growth expectations for the networking division in fiscal 2027. The updated projection now targets high-teens to low-20s percent expansion, accompanied by operating margin forecasts in the mid-to-high 20s range.
Networking division head Rami Rahim credited the integration of Juniper and Aruba assets as a key driver of optimism. He emphasized to investors that the addressable market for networking solutions continues its robust expansion.
The most significant announcement came through the Vultr partnership. The private cloud infrastructure company placed a $1.2 billion order for HPE’s newly launched Helios AI server rack systems, which utilize AMD processors.
This represents the inaugural commercial order for the Helios platform. Vultr plans to deploy the infrastructure across its domestic data center facilities.
Myers spoke enthusiastically about the technical specifications. She described the switch demonstrated at the event as “a work of art,” highlighting its integration of 1,700 copper cables in a single unit.
Financial analysts responded positively. Citigroup lifted its price objective from $76 to $92 while reaffirming its Buy recommendation. Morgan Stanley, Barclays, UBS, and Zacks Research have all modified their targets or ratings this quarter, pushing the consensus analyst target to $71.88.
