The partnership features $2.4 billion in guaranteed generator shipments scheduled for 2027 and 2028. Combined payments to Generac and its international subsidiaries may total as much as $8 billion, based on company filings.
Under the terms of the partnership, Generac granted an Amazon-affiliated entity warrants allowing the purchase of up to 1.69 million company shares with a strike price of approximately $200.93 per share.
Neocloud Sector Rallies
Nebius Group stock advanced 8% during premarket hours following the neocloud provider’s announcement of pricing increases. The development triggered sympathetic gains in competitor stocks including Iren and CoreWeave.
Vicor Corporation shares climbed 10% after revealing a licensing arrangement with an undisclosed OEM partner for its Vertical Power Delivery technology designed for advanced AI processing chips. Specific financial details of the agreement were not made public.
Among declining stocks, Fluence Energy tumbled 16% following a dramatic reduction in its full-year revenue forecast to $2.4 billion, substantially below its previous estimate ranging from $2.9 billion to $3.1 billion. The company additionally revised its adjusted EBITDA expectations to a loss of approximately $200 million for the fiscal year, compared to its earlier projection of roughly a $10 million loss.
Fluence attributed the shortfall to supply chain disruptions and slower-than-anticipated scaling of contract manufacturing facilities in Houston. Company executives emphasized that customer demand continues at robust levels and outlined measures implemented to boost daily production capacity.
Viant Technology shares declined 10% following the announcement of a secondary offering of 8.5 million Class A shares by existing shareholders. The company clarified that it would not receive any capital from the base share offering.
