Earnings per share reached ¥6.29, surpassing the Street estimate of ¥5.63 by a margin of ¥0.66. Non-GAAP diluted earnings per ADS jumped 26.6% year-over-year to $0.93.
Net income attributable to ordinary shareholders advanced 14.5% year-over-year to $1.1 billion. Non-GAAP net income expanded 20.3% to $1.3 billion.
The e-commerce giant achieved operating income of RMB4.5 billion during the quarter, marking a significant turnaround from an operating loss reported in the corresponding period last year.
JD Retail delivered record-setting operating margins during peak shopping season, even as overall revenue momentum decelerated. Emerging ventures, most notably JD Food Delivery, demonstrated substantially narrower losses.
Chief Executive Sandy Xu characterized the quarterly performance as representing a “clear inflection” in the organization’s profitability path, acknowledging concurrent headwinds on revenue generation.

During the first six months of 2026, JD.com completed share repurchases totaling approximately 2.5% of its ordinary shares outstanding, deploying $1.0 billion in capital.
