TLDR
- XRP maintains trading position near $1.50 while respecting an upward trend line established from August’s bottom.
- Chart analysis reveals key resistance between $1.58-$1.65 with critical support zones at $1.20-$1.25.
- Spot XRP ETFs in the United States attracted approximately $75.6 million in capital during the week of Sept. 21-25.
- Total ETF holdings reached between $1.68-$1.77 billion, with aggregate inflows approaching $1.79 billion.
- XRP Ledger’s BatchV1_1 network enhancement has been postponed to no earlier than Oct. 9.
XRP continues to hover around the $1.50 mark following another turbulent trading session in September. Market participants remain committed to protecting the upward momentum that began during August.

Today’s daily candle initiated near $1.496 and climbed to approximately $1.508 at its peak. XRP stabilized around $1.503, marking a modest gain of roughly 0.4% during the trading period.
The overall price formation demonstrates greater resilience compared to earlier summer months. XRP established a floor near $1.00 in August before initiating an upward trajectory characterized by progressively higher lows.
This upward movement carried price action beyond $1.40, bringing it into a resistance band that has repeatedly stalled rallies throughout the current year.
Bulls Confront Critical $1.60 Barrier
The primary obstacle on daily timeframes lies within the $1.58-$1.65 range. XRP has probed this zone on multiple occasions during September, including a temporary advance past $1.60.

With price currently positioned near $1.50, XRP remains beneath this resistance barrier while successfully maintaining its ascending trend line. A confirmed daily close beyond $1.60 would unlock potential movement toward the $1.65-$1.70 region.
Looking at downside risks, the trend line provides initial protection. Should that fail, the wider $1.20-$1.25 region represents the critical support foundation.
Market momentum has moderated yet maintains a constructive stance. The daily RSI registers at 57.14, positioned above the neutral 50 threshold but comfortably distant from overbought conditions.
The MACD indicator similarly reflects positive conditions. The MACD line reads near 0.0509 versus a signal line around 0.0489, with the histogram displaying a marginally positive 0.0020 value.
Market analyst Crypto Rover highlighted this identical resistance area in a recent social media update. He indicated that once XRP penetrates these levels, “it will soar,” connecting his forecast specifically to the $1.58-$1.65 ceiling currently under market observation.
Institutional XRP ETF Demand Continues Strong
Institutional appetite via U.S. spot XRP exchange-traded funds has maintained consistency. These investment vehicles absorbed approximately $75.59 million during the Sept. 21-25 trading week, according to SoSoValue analytics.
Bitwise dominated contributions with approximately $58.99 million, while Franklin Templeton contributed around $16.60 million. Aggregate XRP ETF inflows climbed to nearly $1.79 billion.
Combined net assets registered near $1.77 billion at that week’s conclusion. The latest daily flow figures indicated an additional $3.96 million influx, primarily driven by Canary’s XRPC fund.
Net assets throughout the ETF ecosystem stood near $1.68 billion based on the most recent measurements.
The blockchain network also anticipates an upcoming technical enhancement. The XRP Ledger’s BatchV1_1 upgrade, designed to bundle up to eight related transactions for atomic settlement or failure, has been rescheduled to at least Oct. 9 following a temporary reset in validator consensus.
Ripple has indicated that institutional asset managers and enterprise-level projects are preparing to leverage the Batch functionality upon activation, particularly for delivery-versus-payment settlement workflows.
