Regarding product revelations, UBS forecasts information about AMD’s upcoming data center CPU pipeline ā particularly Venice and Verano processors ā alongside GPU developments such as the MI450x and MI500 series. Early glimpses of the MI600 architecture are also anticipated.

UBS identifies Amazon as a prospective adopter of the MI450x accelerator and points to Anthropic as another potential AI-focused customer. However, the firm emphasizes that major customer unveilings appear improbable during this week’s presentation.
The bank also projects AMD will validate volume manufacturing of its forthcoming EPYC Venice server chip. The subsequent Verano processor is slated for production using Taiwan Semiconductor’s advanced 2-nanometer technology.
AMD enters the event on strong financial footing following its recent earnings performance. First-quarter revenue reached $10.25 billion, representing a 37.8% year-over-year increase and surpassing analyst projections of $9.90 billion.
