Earnings per share of $1.37 outpaced the $1.26 consensus estimate by $0.11.
The company’s adjusted EBITDA similarly exceeded analyst projections, coming in 2.7% above forecasts. Management’s third quarter 2026 revenue outlook of $4.73 billion at the midpoint also surpassed Street expectations by an identical margin.
The vacation rental platform maintains an impressive gross profit margin of 82.9%, a metric that has garnered significant analyst interest. Additionally, the company operates with a conservative debt-to-equity ratio of 0.32.
Wall Street Raises Ratings and Targets
Among the most optimistic firms, Wedbush elevated ABNB from Neutral to Outperform while boosting its price objective to $200. The investment bank highlighted platform enhancements and robust financial performance as catalysts.
Susquehanna increased its target from $170 to $200, maintaining a “positive” outlook on the shares. Jefferies raised its objective from $160 to $175 alongside a “buy” recommendation. Raymond James upgraded the stock from market perform to strong buy during May.
UBS boosted its target to $172 while maintaining a Neutral stance, pointing to product improvements and accelerating bookings growth. Bernstein maintained its Outperform rating with a $168 objective.
However, not all analysts share the enthusiasm. Phillip Securities downgraded ABNB to Reduce, expressing concerns about elevated valuation multiples despite raising its own target to $158. Truist maintained a “hold” recommendation with a $134 price objective.
The average rating among 39 covering analysts stands at “Moderate Buy” with a mean price target of $172.
