The B2B segment of Amazon has achieved the $60 billion mark in annualized gross sales, the corporation announced Monday, with delivery of over half a billion orders completed year-to-date. AMZN stock experienced a decline of approximately 0.75% during the trading session.
This achievement represents significant progress for the business unit, which currently serves over 11 million organizational clients operating in 11 countries worldwide, including 97 companies from the Fortune 100 list. The platform welcomed more than 1.8 million newly registered organizations during just the first six months of 2026.
Shelley Salomon, Amazon’s VP overseeing Worldwide Amazon Business operations, attributed the expansion to a straightforward market demand: businesses seek enhanced efficiency with reduced resources.
“We’re developing innovative solutions to help them reduce expenses and save timeāenabling them to channel resources into business expansion,” she explained.
The platform’s product catalog has grown by close to 30% on a global scale this year. Fresh additions span equipment for maintenance and repair, grocery items, and furniture for commercial spaces, with the majority of expanded offerings supplied by third-party merchants.
The financial benefits are substantial. According to Amazon’s data, business-oriented pricing discounts generated more than $1 billion in savings for customers globally during 2025. Additionally, Prime Business subscribers accumulated over $880 million in shipping cost reductions.
Technology and Supply Chain Enhancements
Amazon has utilized advanced technology to sustain this growth trajectory. Newly deployed AI-powered solutions assist business accounts with expenditure tracking, identify anomalous transactions, and highlight cost-saving opportunities before they expire.
For distribution operations, Amazon has deployed specialized delivery vehicles operating in 13 states across the U.S. These trucks utilize compressed natural gas and are specifically designed for business-to-business deliveries, accommodating scheduled delivery slots and palletized bulk shipments to loading areas and mailroom facilities.
Enhanced Prime Business Member Advantages
Amazon has unveiled an expanded portfolio of benefits designed for Prime Business account holders. Strategic collaborations with CrowdStrike, Gusto, and QuickBooks provide subscribers with reduced-rate access to platforms for security protection, payroll processing, and procurement oversight.
According to Amazon’s estimates, these bundled software discounts can deliver approximately $1,100 in annual savings for smaller enterprises.
The company has additionally incorporated discounted Amazon Quick access as part of the enhanced Prime Business membership offering.
The Amazon Business division currently maintains operations throughout 11 countries and continues expanding its network of third-party vendors, who supply much of the additional product inventory introduced in 2026.
