CrowdStrike Holdings, Inc., CRWD
On Tuesday, BTIG elevated its price objective for CRWD from $191 to $237 while maintaining a Buy recommendation. This revision followed comprehensive field research involving discussions with six industry participants, including strategic partners, cybersecurity consultants, and sector specialists.
The analysis revealed robust market conditions, with artificial intelligence serving as a significant catalyst for the company’s primary endpoint protection offerings. BTIG highlighted encouraging reception for emerging solutions such as Next Gen SIEM, Exposure Management capabilities, and AI Detection and Response technologies.
As CrowdStrike’s second fiscal quarter approaches its final two weeks, BTIG expressed increased conviction in its projections. Under an optimistic scenario, the research house anticipates annual recurring revenue expansion could reach 25.0% for the period, surpassing the Street’s 24.4% consensus estimate.
The firm’s updated model incorporates adjustments for CrowdStrike’s 4-for-1 stock split that took effect on July 2, 2026.
Several other Wall Street analysts have recalibrated their price objectives following the split. UBS increased its target from $198 to $235, citing AI-powered expansion. Stifel established a $220 target, adjusted from its pre-split $790 level. Rosenblatt shifted to $206 from $825. Morgan Stanley made a marginal reduction to $172 from $172.50 while maintaining an Overweight stance.
Splunk Veteran Takes Product Leadership Role
Concurrent with the analyst upgrade, CrowdStrike revealed the hiring of AJ Shipley as its new Chief Product Officer. In this capacity, Shipley will oversee product innovation and development for the entire CrowdStrike Falcon ecosystem.
Shipley arrives from Splunk Security, where he held the CPO position. His previous experience includes leading product management for Cisco’s Threat Detection and Response suiteāencompassing XDR, EDR, NDR, email protection, and vulnerability management technologies.
He contributed to strategic planning for Cisco’s $28 billion Splunk acquisition, participating in transaction due diligence. His professional background also includes senior product leadership positions at Palo Alto Networks.
According to CEO George Kurtz: “AJ is one of the most accomplished builders in our industry, and he is the right leader to seize an opportunity this large.”
Falcon Platform Enhancement and AI Integration
Shipley’s primary responsibility will involve expanding the Falcon platform’s capabilities as corporate clients accelerate their AI implementation strategies. CrowdStrike emphasized that his two-decade track record in cybersecurity product development positions him ideally for this challenge.
