Foxconn announced record-breaking August sales figures while projecting its third-quarter performance will exceed Wall Street estimates, powered by surging artificial intelligence infrastructure requirements.
The Taiwan-based contract manufacturing powerhouse disclosed consolidated sales of T$921.8 billion (roughly $29.15 billion) for August, representing a 52% increase compared to the corresponding period last year. The figure represents the strongest August performance in company history and marks consecutive months above the T$900 billion threshold.
Shares of Foxconn advanced 3.4% during Friday’s session, outperforming Taiwan’s benchmark index which climbed 1.5%. The monthly sales data was published following the close of trading.

“In the third quarter, as AI demand continues to grow, and ICT products also enter the peak season of the second half of the year, operations are expected to gradually gain momentum,” the company stated in its release.
The manufacturer noted that third-quarter visibility has “improved compared to the previous month,” with overall quarterly performance anticipated to exceed analyst expectations. Consistent with standard practice, the company refrained from providing precise numerical forecasts.
Artificial Intelligence Fueling Revenue Expansion
The electronics manufacturer has emerged as a primary winner in the worldwide AI infrastructure expansion. Serving as Nvidia’s largest server assembly partner, Foxconn occupies a strategic position in the supply network supporting global data center operations.
In the previous month, the company disclosed a 35% increase in second-quarter earnings, exceeding Wall Street projections. The financial performance demonstrated that capital expenditure on AI infrastructure is converting directly into tangible results for the assembler, officially registered as Hon Hai Precision Industry.
Beyond producing AI servers for Nvidia, Foxconn maintains a substantial relationship with Apple as a key supplier, positioning the company to capitalize on both enterprise artificial intelligence hardware demand and consumer electronics seasonal peaks throughout the year’s latter half.
Potential Headwind on Management’s Radar
Notwithstanding the optimistic outlook, Foxconn acknowledged certain uncertainties ahead. Management highlighted the necessity to track “the impact of the volatile global political and economic situation,” while refraining from identifying specific geopolitical tensions under consideration.
Such cautionary commentary from a manufacturer with Foxconn’s extensive international operations typically encompasses various concerns, ranging from shifting trade policies to potential supply chain interruptions.
Nevertheless, the financial performance speaks volumes. Back-to-back months exceeding T$900 billion in sales combined with a record-setting August demonstrate the operation is maintaining robust momentum.
Market sentiment toward Foxconn shares remains positive. Friday’s 3.4% appreciation occurred before the August sales figures became publicly available.
