According to regulatory documents submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for Q2 2026, Goldman Sachs has reestablished itself as the dominant institutional player in XRP exchange-traded funds. After completely divesting from XRP ETF positions during the previous quarter, the banking giant has now deployed $86.50 million across five separate investment vehicles.
The investment portfolio encompasses positions in products managed by Bitwise, Franklin Templeton, Grayscale, Canary, and 21Shares. Specifically, Goldman maintains 2,208,949 shares of the Bitwise XRP ETF, 2,238,407 shares of Franklin’s XRPZ product, and 1,759,090 shares of Canary’s XRPC fund.
Additionally, the firm holds 806,126 shares in TOXR and 377,619 shares in Grayscale’s GXRP offering. Before its complete withdrawal last quarter, Goldman’s XRP ETF allocation was valued at approximately $152 million.
The financial institution also reported owning 365,976 XRPN shares through Armada Acquisition Corp II, a special purpose acquisition company supported by Ripple-connected Evernorth Holdings, currently pursuing a Nasdaq stock exchange listing.
Wall Street’s Growing XRP Appetite
Goldman Sachs isn’t the only major financial player entering the XRP ETF space. JPMorgan, Morgan Stanley, and Bank of America all revealed XRP ETF investments in their Q2 2026 regulatory submissions. This coordinated movement signals increasing mainstream financial sector interest in XRP-based investment products.
Digital asset research platform Coin Bureau highlighted on social platforms that XRP experienced a remarkable 40% appreciation over five days, climbing from below $1.00 to approach $1.40. Their analysis revealed that large holders accumulated more than 300 million XRP tokens during the 96-hour period preceding the price rally, and that the $0.98 price level had historically served as a springboard before XRP’s 2024 climb to its all-time peak near $3.65.
XRP spot exchange-traded funds recorded $13.24 million in positive net flows on Thursday. Bitwise dominated with $9.9 million in inflows, while Franklin contributed $3.34 million. Combined assets under management for all spot XRP ETFs have reached $1.17 billion, with aggregate inflows surpassing $1.53 billion.

XRP Market Performance and Trading Metrics
XRP is presently trading in the $1.31 to $1.38 range, representing approximately 22% gains on the day and 39ā40% appreciation across the week. Throughout the past 24 hours, the price fluctuated between $1.16 and $1.43.

Market activity has intensified dramatically, with trading volume jumping 156% during the last 24-hour period. Open interest in XRP futures contracts increased more than 17% to $3.44 billion. CME futures open interest expanded 35%, while Binance registered a 15% gain and Hyperliquid documented a 29% surge.
The wider cryptocurrency market recovery has been partially attributed to U.S. Treasury actions involving government bond buybacks, which decreased yields and created more favorable financial market conditions.
An initiative to introduce institutional lending infrastructure to the XRP Ledger ā featuring collaboration between Clearpool, Cicada Partners, and Ripple serving as liquidity provider ā was announced earlier and continues to develop.
