Lotte Tour Development announced strong gaming performance at its Jeju Dream Tower resort for the month of June. The integrated resort generated KRW48.72 billion in casino revenue, equivalent to approximately $31.3 million, representing a substantial 36.1% year-over-year improvement.
These results were submitted to the Korea Exchange this Wednesday. The impressive performance was primarily attributed to enhanced table game operations and increased tourist traffic to the property.
Table Game Performance Powers Revenue Growth
Revenue from table games in June exceeded KRW47.20 billion. This represented a modest 0.4% monthly increase from May while demonstrating a robust 37.4% jump compared to the same month in the prior year.
The property’s table game hold percentage came in at 21.0% during June. While this represented a slight decline from May’s 22.6% figure, it significantly exceeded the 15.7% hold rate achieved in June 2025.
This marked the consecutive second month that gaming revenue surpassed the KRW40 billion threshold. However, monthly revenue experienced a minor 1.4% dip from May’s KRW49.42 billion total, which had represented the peak performance during the year’s first six months.
Table drop—the aggregate value of chips purchased by patrons—increased 2.5% on an annual basis to approximately KRW224.59 billion. Month-over-month, the drop figure climbed 8.2%.
Guest Traffic and Hotel Performance
Jeju Dream Tower attracted 61,146 casino patrons during June. This figure reflected an 18.7% year-over-year gain, though it represented a 3.3% monthly decrease from May’s 63,192 visitor count.
The May visitor total had established the highest traffic level since the property’s inaugural opening in June 2021. June’s figures demonstrate sustained momentum following that record-setting month.
Electronic gaming machines presented a contrasting performance picture. Machine game revenue totaled approximately KRW1.52 billion, declining 37.3% month-over-month while still registering a 5.7% year-over-year increase.
The hold percentage for machine games dropped to 3.7% in June. This marked the lowest monthly rate the property has recorded throughout 2026 to date.
Hotel operations generated just under KRW8.03 billion in June revenue. This represented a 17.6% year-over-year improvement and a 7.2% increase compared to May’s performance.
Both gaming and accommodation divisions of the integrated resort delivered positive results for the month. The facility has now achieved growth across the majority of its operational segments throughout 2026.
During the initial six-month period of 2026, casino table drop totaled KRW1.21 trillion. This figure demonstrated an 18.5% increase compared to the corresponding timeframe last year.
Aggregate casino revenue for the first half of 2026 reached nearly KRW265.72 billion. This represented a substantial 36.6% year-over-year expansion.
Lotte Tour credited the strong first-half results to double-digit percentage gains across both table games and electronic gaming machines. Hotel operations contributed KRW40.92 billion in revenue during the six-month period, reflecting a 13.8% year-over-year gain.
The operator did not provide detailed commentary regarding the specific factors influencing monthly fluctuations. Investment firm Shinhan Securities has previously identified Lotte Tour as well-positioned to capitalize on South Korea’s recovering international tourism sector.
