Strategy disclosed third-quarter 2026 net income of $19.53 billion. This represents a substantial increase compared to the $2.79 billion recorded during the identical quarter in 2025.
The dramatic improvement stemmed primarily from a $20.91 billion appreciation in the firm’s Bitcoin portfolio. This valuation increase also contributed to record-breaking operating income figures.
As of October 25, the company’s cryptocurrency treasury consisted of 848,517 Bitcoin. This represents a 26% accumulation since January.
Meanwhile, the legacy software division generated $125.4 million in quarterly revenue, representing a 3% decline year-over-year.
Following the earnings announcement Thursday evening, Strategy’s stock price declined approximately 3.5% in extended trading.
Saylor Outlines $30 Billion Credit Generation Strategy
During the quarterly earnings discussion, Executive Chairman Michael Saylor outlined the company’s capacity to establish up to $30 billion in digital credit instruments. He emphasized this could be accomplished leveraging the existing balance sheet structure.
According to Saylor, Strategy wouldn’t require additional common stock issuance or Bitcoin price appreciation to unlock this capacity. “We could create $10 billion, $20 billion, $30 billion of digital credit,” Saylor stated.
The $30 billion represents theoretical capacity rather than a confirmed capital-raising initiative.
CEO Phong Le identified digital credit as the primary acquisition channel for future Bitcoin purchases. “The primary way to acquire Bitcoin is by issuing digital credit,” Le explained.
Le outlined a hypothetical scenario where monthly capital raises of $1 billion to $2 billion through STRC preferred securities could be allocated partially to dollar reserves, with the balance directed toward Bitcoin acquisition.
In an official statement, Saylor declared, “We’re at the beginning of the next bitcoin bull market.” He noted that Strategy’s digital credit portfolio encompasses $16 billion in notional value distributed across ten publicly traded securities.
The announcement also confirmed that STRC “returned to health” following $2.04 billion in buyback activity. Research provider K33 previously estimated that STRC had contributed $725 million to Strategy’s annual dividend obligations.
Transition to Daily Dividend Distribution and Leadership Changes
Investors holding Strategy’s STRC, STRF, STRK, and STRD preferred securities voted this week to authorize daily dividend accrual. The measure passed overwhelmingly with 99.3% support, according to Saylor.
“Daily dividends are a natural step toward the tokenized, 24/7/365 financial system,” Le commented Thursday.
The company simultaneously announced that Chief Financial Officer Andrew Kang will depart November 5 for personal circumstances. CEO Le will assume interim oversight of the finance function until Chief Operating Officer Reza Virasteh formally assumes the CFO position on January 1, 2027.
STRF, STRK, and STRD will establish a January 1 record date with distribution scheduled for January 4. Subsequently, each calendar day will serve as a record date, with payment processing on the following business day.
Implementation of the revised dividend framework is imminent. STRC’s inaugural record date under the new structure is November 1, with distribution scheduled for November 2.
