Bitmine Immersion Technologies, Inc., BMNR
The company’s aggregate Ethereum position has grown to 5,901,112 tokens. Using Coinbase’s pricing of $2,511 per token, the portfolio valuation reaches approximately $14.5 billion. Beyond Ethereum, Bitmine maintains 211 Bitcoin, a $180 million equity position in Beast Industries, an $81 million stake in Eightco Holdings (ORBS), plus $541 million in cash and liquid securities. Combined asset holdings totaled $15.6 billion as of August 30, 2026.
The recent acquisition follows a 32,447 ETH purchase completed during the prior week. This represents a notable acceleration from earlier summer activity, when weekly purchases occasionally dipped below 10,000 ETH throughout July and August as the organization neared its self-established 5% supply threshold.
Bitmine currently controls approximately 4.9% of Ethereum’s 120.7 million token circulation. Reaching the 5% benchmark requires approximately 6.04 million ETH, meaning the company remains about 134,000 tokens away from this target.
The organization initiated its ETH Treasury Strategy on June 30, 2025, maintaining consecutive weekly purchases for 65 weeks since launch.
Staking Operations Drive Revenue Growth
From the 5.9 million ETH portfolio, 5,067,309 tokens (representing 86% of holdings) are currently deployed for staking through Bitmine’s MAVAN (Made in America Validator Network) infrastructure. The staked holdings carry a valuation of $12.7 billion at present market rates.
Current 7-day annualized staking returns measure 2.63%, projecting annualized staking income of $335 million. This revenue stream represents an increasingly significant component of the company’s financial structure.
Tom Lee Discusses Q3 Performance and Future Outlook
Chairman Tom Lee attributed cryptocurrency’s impressive third-quarter results as a likely catalyst for institutional capital allocation. Ethereum has climbed 55% during August alone, while Bitcoin recorded 34% gains, both substantially outperforming traditional U.S. equity indices.
“We believe this sets the stage for institutions to add to their crypto holdings given the substantial outperformance of crypto versus other macro assets in 3Q so far,” Lee said.
Lee identified an anticipated U.S. CLARITY Act vote scheduled for mid-September and emerging demand from Korean market participants as immediate catalysts worth monitoring.
Looking further ahead, he highlighted tokenization expansion and blockchain adoption by artificial intelligence agents as fundamental long-term drivers supporting Ethereum.
Bitmine secured inclusion in the Russell 1000 Large-cap index on June 26, 2026. The company’s shares recorded average daily trading volume of $1.36 billion during the five-day window concluding August 29, 2026, placing it 62nd among 5,704 U.S.-listed equities based on data referenced from Fundstrat.
BMNR shares declined 7.14% during the trading session, while ETH/USD decreased 1.19% at the time of publication.
