This latest acquisition elevated the company’s total reserves past the 6 million ETH mark for the first time in its history. The current treasury stands at precisely 6,001,302 ETH.
Based on prevailing market rates, this ethereum position carries a valuation of approximately $16.1 billion. The company did not reveal the average purchase price for this week’s acquisition.
Chairman Tom Lee described the achievement as a significant victory for the organization. He emphasized that the entire position was accumulated in fewer than 15 months.
The company’s ethereum reserves now represent approximately 5% of Ethereum’s circulating token supply. According to internal metrics, Bitmine has achieved 98% of this strategic objective.
Ethereum’s total circulating supply currently stands at approximately 122.1 million tokens. Reaching a complete 5% stake would necessitate holdings of roughly 6.1 million ETH.
Using these calculations, the firm requires approximately 104,000 additional ETH to achieve its target. Bitmine has maintained a consistent weekly ethereum purchasing schedule since initiating this strategy in mid-2025.
Staking Program Grows
Currently, over 5 million ETH from the treasury is deployed in staking operations. This represents approximately 84% of the company’s total ethereum holdings.
These staked assets are yielding an annualized return of 2.62%. Lee indicated that projected annual staking income currently stands near $358 million.
Should the entire treasury be staked via Bitmine’s MAVAN network, anticipated annual rewards could reach $424 million. The MAVAN platform was introduced earlier in 2026 to facilitate the company’s staking operations.

The firm’s aggregate holdings of cryptocurrency, cash reserves, and other assets now reach $17.2 billion. This marks an increase from the previous week’s valuation of $17.1 billion.

The company maintains its position as the world’s largest corporate ethereum holder by a substantial margin. Joe Lubin’s Sharplink and The Ether Machine rank behind with holdings of 888,938 ETH and 496,712 ETH respectively.
Ethereum was trading around $2,679 at recent observation. This represents a decline of approximately 1% over the preceding 24 hours and roughly 2% over the weekly period.
