Binance Coin was changing hands near $761 on September 23, based on CoinGecko market data. The cryptocurrency declined 3.3% during the trading session while maintaining a solid 7.4% gain across the preceding seven days.

The 24-hour trading activity registered approximately $1.34 billion in volume. This downturn coincided with Binance’s revelation regarding modifications to its account infrastructure.
During the session’s earlier hours, Binance Coin had approached the $800 threshold. The asset peaked at $799.67 before market participants took profits, driving the price downward to approximately $782.
While the correction hasn’t wiped out recent upward momentum, it raises questions about whether demand can stabilize at present levels before another attempt at the $800 barrier.
Exchange Prepares for Account Restructuring
The exchange revealed plans to initiate the transfer of digital asset balances from Funding Accounts to Spot Accounts starting September 29. This transition period will extend through January 2027.
Following completion of this migration, the Funding Account designation will be retired and replaced with the Stocks Account label. This renamed account will exclusively handle stock and stock-options settlement operations.
Binance Coin joins five other approved assets for equity and options settlement on the platform. These include USD, USDC, USDT, USD1, and U.
Users have access to a streamlined One-Click Migration feature for immediate fund transfers. Those who don’t manually initiate the process will see their holdings moved automatically when the January 2027 deadline arrives.
The exchange emphasized that overall account balances will remain unchanged throughout this transition. Past transaction history will continue displaying under the original account classifications.
Binance’s securities offering enables qualified users outside American borders to access over 7,000 U.S.-listed equities and exchange-traded funds. Minimum fractional share purchases begin at just $5.
Starting September 1, the platform introduced physically settled options contracts on selected U.S. stocks and ETFs. When exercised, these contracts convert to actual shares maintained through Alpaca Securities.
Critical Price Zones Under Trader Scrutiny
Binance Coin’s accumulation indicator, measuring buyer versus seller momentum, continues showing strength. The metric experienced modest cooling following the token’s recent peak.
Market observers identify the $750 to $760 band as the initial support area. This zone witnessed considerable buying activity during the earlier rally phase.
Technical analyst Wealthmanager shared on X that Binance Coin appears positioned for a retest following its surge toward $806. The analyst highlighted the $739 to $746 corridor as the critical support level, suggesting that maintenance of this zone could present another buying opportunity ahead of potential upside movement.
Further down, the $720 to $725 region represents a backup support level. The $700 mark, previously acting as resistance, would become increasingly significant should selling pressure intensify.
Additionally, Binance revealed a $100 million investment in Circle on September 22, accompanied by a five-year partnership agreement centered on USDC integration throughout its ecosystem. USDC features among the designated assets for upcoming stock settlement functionality.
Binance Coin most recently traded around $761, with market participants eyeing the $800 level as the next major resistance hurdle.
