On Tuesday, Hyperscale Data (GPUS) disclosed that its Bitcoin reserves totaled 278.0314 BTC as of August 23, 2026, representing approximately $21.6 million in value when calculated against Bitcoin’s $77,755 closing price for that trading day.
The cryptocurrency assets are distributed between two fully owned subsidiaries. Sentinum manages the firm’s Bitcoin mining infrastructure and data center operations, while Ault Capital Group (ACG) maintains diversified operations spanning financial services, defense contracting, and hospitality ventures.
During the seven-day period ending August 23, 2026, the company executed no Bitcoin purchases or sales on public markets. The reported treasury position represents the consolidated holdings of both operating entities as of that specific date.
Dual-Entity Structure Houses Bitcoin Assets
Sentinum operates Bitcoin mining facilities alongside colocation and hosting infrastructure serving AI applications and various enterprise clients. ACG functions as a diversified private equity and operating entity with substantially broader business interests.
Management at Hyperscale Data has communicated intentions to separate ACG through divestiture in 2027. Following this transaction, the parent company would concentrate exclusively on data center services and digital asset management.
The separation mechanism utilizes Series F Exchangeable Preferred Stock instruments issued during December 2024. Shareholders surrendering these preferred instruments will receive corresponding equity stakes in the independent ACG entity upon completion of the split.
Post-Divestiture Business Model
Following the ACG separation, Hyperscale Data will concentrate operations on high-performance computing infrastructure and cryptocurrency holdings. ACG will maintain independence with its private credit operations and structured finance activities conducted through Ault Lending, LLC.
Pending completion of the separation, ACG continues managing diversified operations including defense sector activities, industrial operations, automotive interests, hotel properties, and an artificial intelligence software platform.
GPUS stock has demonstrated significant volatility over the trailing twelve-month period, with common equity surging more than 269% while preferred share classes declined approximately 1.5%.
The company operates from its headquarters in Las Vegas, Nevada.
