Stablecoin Withdrawals Expand Digital Funding Options
Interactive Brokers now allows eligible clients to withdraw U.S. dollars through automatic conversion into USDC, PYUSD or RLUSD. Afterwards, clients can transfer those stablecoins to supported external wallets. Consequently, the feature expands funding flexibility across supported digital asset networks.
The new withdrawal capability builds on the stablecoin deposit service introduced earlier this year. That service converts supported stablecoins into U.S. dollars after clients transfer them into brokerage-linked wallets. As a result, customers can move funds between blockchain networks and brokerage accounts more efficiently.
Stablecoin funding and withdrawals remain available throughout the day, including weekends and public holidays. Eligible clients can immediately access funds for trading activities after transfers settle. The service supports trading across more than 170 global markets through one brokerage account.
Interactive Brokers Broadens Crypto Asset Selection
Interactive Brokers also expanded its cryptocurrency lineup by adding nine digital assets through zerohash. The additions include Aave, Aptos, Canton, Lido DAO, Monad, NEAR Protocol, Plasma, PAX Gold and Uniswap. Aave, Uniswap, and PAX Gold are also available through Paxos Trust Company.
The brokerage now offers 20 cryptocurrency assets across its digital trading platform. Existing offerings include Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Solana, Cardano, XRP, Dogecoin, Avalanche, Chainlink and Sui. Additionally, Solana, Cardano, XRP, and Dogecoin joined the platform during March 2025.
Interactive Brokers stated that digital assets should remain part of a broader financial experience instead of operating independently. Clients can trade cryptocurrencies alongside stocks, options, futures, bonds, currencies, funds, and prediction contracts. Eligible users can also transfer supported crypto assets between brokerage accounts and custodial or noncustodial wallets.
Expansion Supports Broader Digital Asset Strategy
Interactive Brokers charges cryptocurrency commissions ranging from 0.12% to 0.18% of trade value. Every order carries a minimum commission of $1.75. The brokerage also does not apply additional spreads, markups, or custody fees.
The new services remain unavailable for clients of Interactive Brokers U.K. Limited and Interactive Brokers Ireland Limited. The newly listed crypto assets are not accessible through the Irish entity. Therefore, regional availability continues to depend on local operating entities and regulations.
The latest expansion follows continued growth across Interactive Brokers’ business operations. Recent company data showed strong increases in daily average revenue trades and client accounts. Meanwhile, the brokerage also expanded international market access while adding more digital asset capabilities to support its long-term platform strategy.
