- NN may update 2026 and 2027 guidance after Q2 results
NN, Inc. (NNBR) jumped 25.33% to $3.4590 after the company expanded its NVIDIA-linked AI data center awards. The update highlighted stronger demand for liquid cooling products and a wider push beyond commodity automotive work. The stock spiked after the open, then eased and stabilized near $3.46 in afternoon trading.
NNBR Rises After New AI Data Center Awards
NN said it secured additional 2026 immediate-supply awards for liquid cooling products used in NVIDIA AI data center racks. The new awards add to earlier business wins and expand NN’s data center product portfolio. The company also linked the awards to its broader Data Center and Electric Grid segment.
That segment already ranks as NN’s second-largest business by sales. NN aims to make it the company’s largest business over time. The company also targets medical, defense, electronics, data center, and electric grid markets for growth.
NN has moved quickly since launching the stainless-steel liquid cooling product line in Q1 2026. It now plans 52 dedicated machines for data center liquid cooling products. The company said it has already pre-sold all planned production capacity.
NVIDIA Supply Chain Demand Drives Expansion
NNBR gained after NN said the new awards involve stainless-steel cooling products for the NVIDIA supply chain. The company said the products support liquid-cooled AI data center rack systems. These systems help manage heat as AI computing workloads increase.
NN plans to add 30 new machine centers to support the expanded program. It also previously announced 17 high-speed CNC machines at its Wuxi, China plant.NN repurposed five automotive CNC production centers for data center output.
This shift supports NN’s plan to reduce exposure to commodity automotive products. The company expects the expansion to add to 2026 sales. It also said the final new machine should be installed in November 2026.
NN Builds Data Center Business From Existing Capabilities
NN has made precision fluid management products for more than 40 years. Its product base includes valve bodies, seats, plungers, connectors, guides, and related metal components. The company sees a direct fit with liquid-cooled data center systems.
NN said its Wuxi plant will supply parts into NVIDIA’s Asia supply chain. The target regions include China, Taiwan, and Vietnam. The company also expects many racks produced in Asia to support U.S. data center projects.
The update fits within NN’s prior 2026 new wins guidance of $80 million to $90 million. The company may adjust 2026 and 2027 sales and EBITDA guidance after reviewing updated business trends. NN expects to discuss the matter when it reports Q2 results in early August.
