The cryptocurrency advocacy organization Stand With Crypto, which [[LINK_START_0]]Coinbase[[LINK_END_0]] established in 2023, has publicly backed 32 current U.S. House members who are seeking another term in the upcoming November 2026 midterm elections.
All representatives receiving endorsements previously cast affirmative votes to move the Digital Asset Market Clarity Actācommonly referred to as the CLARITY Actāthrough the House chamber. This proposed legislation seeks to establish nationwide regulatory standards for digital assets and clarify jurisdictional boundaries between the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
The slate of endorsements crosses partisan boundaries. Notable Republicans including Tom Emmer, Bill Huizenga, and Warren Davidson appear on the roster along with Democratic representatives Ritchie Torres, Jim Costa, and Josh Gottheimer. Representatives from contested districts such as Juan Ciscomani of Arizona and Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania have also secured endorsements.
Among those endorsed, Tom Emmer holds the position of House Majority Whip. Glenn “GT” Thompson serves as chairman of the House Agriculture Committee. Bryan Steil oversees the digital assets subcommittee under the House Financial Services Committee umbrella.
Senate Progress on CLARITY Act Remains Uncertain
While the CLARITY Act successfully cleared the House chamber, it has encountered obstacles in the Senate. Disagreements among senators concerning multiple sections of the bill have prevented advancement, with negotiations continuing for several months without reaching consensus.
Digital asset firms have identified passage of this legislation as a critical policy objective. The endorsement strategy from Stand With Crypto focuses on maintaining pro-crypto House representation while efforts continue to advance the bill in the upper chamber.
Steven Horsford put forward the bipartisan PARITY Act during the current legislative session. Bill Huizenga has co-sponsored both the Blockchain Regulatory Certainty Act and the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act. Warren Davidson previously introduced the Bitcoin for America Act in the prior year.
Industry Political Contributions Increase Before Election
According to Stand With Crypto, the organization has enrolled over 3 million U.S.-based supporters. Mason Lynaugh, who serves as Executive Director, indicated the organization’s strategy has evolved from establishing the existence of crypto-focused voters to showcasing genuine grassroots mobilization capabilities.
“In 2024 we were very much proving that the crypto voter is real,” Lynaugh stated. “In 2026 we’re very much showing that we have the organizing capacity and that our advocates are a true voting bloc that can move the needle.”
While these endorsements don’t include direct monetary contributions to campaigns, representatives earning high marks from Stand With Crypto frequently attract financial backing from industry-supported political action committees.
Fairshake, the dominant cryptocurrency-focused super PAC, reports having $122 million in reserve for deployment before the November elections. During primary contests, Fairshake provided support to 49 candidates who ultimately secured victories.
Aggregate political expenditures from cryptocurrency-aligned organizations for the 2026 electoral cycle have climbed to nearly $200 million, representing an increase from approximately $170 million deployed throughout the 2024 election period.
Stand With Crypto intends to reveal Senate race endorsements and selections for open-seat candidates as Election Day approaches.
